A Short One

First of all, let me clear one thing up...I am not that big of a Lady GaGa fan...I more just like to make fun of how ridiculous her music is. Now that we have that out of the way...
Mr Max:
Max is doing SO much better than he was after "the event". We have been talking with the nurses and Dr. Dickies (one of Max's surgeons) and they have told us that he is looking good. We are looking at little steps as huge victories right now, but Dr. Dickies told us that Max had a BIG step last night and cleared a lot of the blood out of his lungs.
They do an x-ray every day and this morning his lungs were looking much better. You can see a lot more of his lung tissue and some of the other details in his chest so that is a big one for us! This is 100% due to how amazing God is and how many of you have been praying and pulling for our little boy. There was one other thing that got me really excited today when talking to the doctors...are you ready for this one? Max might be able to come off of ECMO as early as next week!! This would mean that we are basically back to the starting point, but we are MORE than ok to take our time with things and make sure that he is totally better.
That is really all the updates that we have for you all today. We appreciate all of you so much, and could not be more excited for each new day. God is just SO incredible to us and is showing us new things every day through our son. We are so so SO thankful. Talk to you all later!!!

Gos is so good-- take your time, Jordan and Claire. I know you're excited to get him home, but he's at a great place for this time in his life..... What a blessing that God guided you there....

God really is awesome isn't He? We are praying daily for Max and for both of you. Continue to see God's mercy and love in every step of Max's care and recovery. It is the most beautiful thing you will ever witness.

I'm so glad everything is going well. I think about you guys allllllll the time... and pray for you all day long!
And p.s. - lady gaga isn't that bad. It's ok if you like her. We all have weird little quirks. :)
What a great way to start a day....hearing how well Max is doing!! Praise God! and of course, I can tell by your 'voice'...if Max is doing well...Claire and Jordan are doing well....we're still praying!

This is certainly good news. As I said before,right now God is carrying Max in his arms. There's only one set of FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND, and they belong to the "big guy." There's nothing else to say. Hope you are both getting in some rest. The days must be long indeed, but good things often take a long time to come to fruition. Max is undoubtly one of those good things.
Oh no... Cox has been acting up and haven't been able to check up... am just reading about whole week. Am just speechless...
Please know our thougths/prayers are with you all...
Max-man you are one strong boy and have many, many people praying over you.. keep improving so you can come home to Arizona soon.
